Nicholas Grubic is an MSc student in Epidemiology and a Research Assistant with CINQ. Nicholas’ research surrounds the development of novel tools and strategies that will improve the cardiovascular care of athletes, as well as reduce the occurrence of cardiac outcomes in the athletic population. Currently, his work focuses on the implementation of an online athletic screening database which will help to answer the pertinent questions surrounding risk and prevention of sudden cardiac death. Nicholas’ research is supported by a Southeastern Ontario Academic Medical Organization Innovation Fund grant.
